Horyzont Technologie Internetowe, Greater Poland based provider of internet solutions dedicated for business and institutionl clients gained a strategic investor\u00a0 \u2013 Vectra S.A.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the capital and the organizational base of Vectra, Horyzont will continue developing hitherto areas of activity and also will launch projects in areas where the company was not active. The previous company\u2019s management will be extented by multi-year experienced ICT manager \u2013 Albert Kuzmicz. The team of managers stays unchaged with managing director \u2013 Mikolaj Kamienski, technical director \u2013 Lukasz Matys and sales director \u2013 Jacek Staszek.<\/p>\n
The company\u2019s strategic plans include continuation of further dynamic growth in current areas of activity, and also thanks to the capital support \u2013 the opening of new investment projects, with particular consideration of cloud computing services, energy highly-effective datacentres and innovative technologies of digital content distribution.<\/p>\n
– Vectra is the second cable operator in Poland, in respect of the number of subscribers. We operate in more than 340 cities in the whole country. We have a nationwide fiberoptic network and our own DWDM system. The scale and standards of our activity are the resources that will be used by Horyzont, as well as our technical infrastructure. At the same time Vectra will willingly use modern and technically proved solutions that help to offer new services for new groups of clients. The acquisition of Horyzont also gives perfect opportunity to expand our services portfolio in B2B area. Company\u2019s headquarters and the management board will stay in Poznan. Horyzont Technologie Internetowe (www.horyzont.net) is a regional provider of broadband solutions operating in the agglomeration of Poznan. The company\u2019s speciality is provision of services dedicated for demanding business customers and institutions as well as minors ISP\u2019s. Horyzont operates the fiber optic network with almost 400km cables in the area of Poznan and its suburbs. The company also runs a datacenter located at the Municipal Stadium. Company\u2019s reference lists include 500 customers from Small-to-Medium sized companies as well as big internet enterprises (Allegro, Komputronik, Onet, Talex).
