Poznan Internet eXchange is the point of Internet traffic exchange where
\ncurrently about 100 content providers and access to
\nInternet are present . They are both big content providers (Allegro ,
\nOnet , TVP ) as also access network operators ( GTS Exatel , CT) and a
\nlarge group local Internet service providers from across the Poland .<\/p>\n
Participation in the project involves the symbolic 10GE access port
\ncosts \u200b\u200b- 1 PLN net per month and gives PIX participants
\na quick and inexpensive access to more than 40 % of the Polish Internet
\nresources. With the running web content delivery systems
\nof Google and Akamai ISPs receive substantial relief on major access
\nlinks to the global Internet .<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
